Once learning is completed, learners must demonstrate achievement of the targeted learning outcomes as part of a formal assessment process.
There can be one or several assessments during the mobility period depending on the duration of mobility and on those processes listed in the learning agreement.
Assessment methods might include (among others):
- structured feedback meetings/discussions.
- written assignments.
- skills demonstrations.
- work samples.
- simulated conversations.
Whilst assessment processes and practices will often reflect the norms and expertise of the host organisation, it is important that these are discussed and agreed in advance - and reflected in the Memorandum of Understanding and Learning Agreement - thus facilitating validation and recognition on return to the home country and institution.
In this first video, an example of a skills demonstration is shown from the MOVET (Modules for Vocational Education and Training for competences in Europe) project.
